However, if I were to express a minor disappointment, it would be the tofu soup, which doesnt quite measure up to my personal preferences compared to other locations. “ I adore this place! First off, the lighting and decorations create an entire mood for the meal. Their cocktails come with fun light up ice cubes. The waiters are knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. Our grill was often switched out and checked in if we wanted another round of food. It is 30.99 for dinner the picture on here that says 24.99 was 5 years ago price, even for that, it is worth it! Dont worry about the small portions some people claim, because you can keep ordering and there is no time limit. I prefer the small amount so you can try more things before getting too full. There is a learning curve if you never ate at a Korean bbq place as you have to cook your food. This place is a great date night spot, celebrating special occasions. I recommend giving this spot a try! I tried Deep fried Mandu Jap Chae Cheese tonkatsu Beef bulgogi Spicy samgyubsal Assorted vegetables Garlic chicken Signature Yangyum Galbi Korean Style pork giblets Honey soy beef belly Spicy pork bulgogi Spicy calamari veggie bowl and Hotteok And for cocktails, I had a dragon fruit sparkle and a cherry blossom. Everyone has different taste buds, but I think the honey soy beef belly was my favorite. ”
“ First time at Korean BBQ. It was 30 each for dinner before taxes tip, a price comparable to ayce sushi, so makes sense. Jesus was the kindest, most professional server. He guided us through our first time and elevated our experience. We spent over 2 hours here and went through three rounds. It would have been less time but our third round was delayed coming out. I would certainly recommend Gen especially for special occasions!! Next time Im trying the soju capri suns!! ”
“ Despite the limited number of servers during the night we visited, they made the most of what they could offer and definitely gave their best service possible. They would check up on us frequently and take our orders just in time. Food was great lots of options to choose from. Definitely recommend their pork belly choices plain, garlic, cajun, and wine were the best. Wasnt too much of a fan of the smoked pork belly though. Ask for lettuce wraps on the side as well as the dipping sauces we like ssamjang. The banchan side dishes all tasted great. Just enough fermentation for our tastebuds. The star of the night though would be the cheese tonkatsu ”
“ When Gen Korean BBQ House opened this restaurant in Arden Fair Mall, everyone including myself expected the food and customer service should be the same as the Gen in Los Angeles. But they dont! So they get lots of disappointed reviews. I come back here twice recently, and both times I got good enough AYCE foods and excellent service. The meats are good quality with tasty seasoning. The banchan the little side dishes are still pretty bad! But the two waitresses were excellent. They were better than most of the KBBQ services. They come to our table at the perfect time. The food we ordered was delivered to our table very quickly. They offer to change the grille often. I am enjoying my dinner much more because of their excellent service! Ill be back! ”

“ When I tell you they food is the bomb . Com! I had the spicy pork, the calamari, the spicy shrimp, the pomegranate Soju. Everything was so good. Even the salad, the pork riblets and the appetizers. Definitely coming back. The Soju will surprise you. It tastes like juice but has a powerful effect! 10 out of 10. ”
